Timothy D. Stein
Principal
Timothy D. Stein is a principal of the firm. His practice focuses are estate, tax and business planning. He has extensive experience in advising individuals with high net worth regarding sophisticated tax planning matters and operations and issues regarding family offices.
Mr. Stein also has significant experience in international income and estate tax planning, as well as international and domestic asset protection, including the establishment of both offshore and domestic trusts.
In the area of business planning and transactional work, Mr. Stein has both broad experience and technical expertise in areas of LLC, partnership, and corporate taxation, mergers, acquisitions and other reorganizations. Finally, he serves as chief tax counsel to multiple significant private foundations, and is responsible for their tax compliance, structuring and planning.
